My career

Personal statement

Teamwork

My job is successful when I can fulfill customer expectation while maintaining a positive ambiance in the project team. Project members are the absolute most valuable part of any project; a happy and motivated team is key to achieve great results.

Knowledge

I'm most confident when I know I can trust on my knowledge and expertise. My system thinking has enabled me in the past years to be successful in setting up manufacturing processes and dynamic qualifications of high-tech machines, backed by statistical data analysis.

Growth

As the saying goes: "stagnation means decline". I think it is important to keep on improving, both on a personal level as well as a team & society. As I'm growing I'd like to coach the team around me and continue to innovate in new technology.

What I've done so far

Oct 2016 – Present
ASML
Project Lead Industrialization

I have always enjoyed working with high-tech machines, and working on cutting edge technology is a great challenge. I really like to build the team and to make sure that we achieve customer satisfaction together.

I have been working together with a lot of different cultures and learned a lot about stakeholder management. I really developed my skills in team building and coaching.

Jan 2011 – Sep 2016
NTS Mechatronics
NPI Engineer

The first time I became familiar with NTS was through a lector at Avans. What appealed me the most was the diversity of machines NTS is manufacturing. I enjoyed working on a variety of machines, such as robots to strip painting of airplanes, 3D printers for metal parts and pick-and-place robots.

I've gotten to see a lot of different companies, learned a lot about manufacturing processes and got to develop myself in the field of process validation, test design and dynamic qualification.

Feb 2010 – Dec 2010
Euro-Techniek
Traineeship & Engineer

At Euro-Techniek I started my graduation assignment in collaboration with the lectureship of Avans with the goal to share field experience with other students and professors. I think it was a nice opportunity to close the gap between theory and practice.

During my assignment I developed and programmed an automated production line for loading bulk sheet metal parts in a hydraulic press. There was even an article published in a Dutch engineering trade journal.

Sep 2008 – Jan 2009
ROMA
Traineeship

At my first traineeship I had a nice opportunity to improve the motion controller of an electrically operated sliding door and to implement the mechanical design in Autodesk Inventor.
